Putting together a full meal is one of my favorite pastimes, and getting to do so with my friends is even more fun! With Thanksgiving tomorrow (can you believe it’s already here!?), I figured I’d share some quick appetizers you can put together for your guests. By quick, I mean literally 20 minutes tops! Delicious, easy, and fun to make. What more could you ask for? I also posted some quick videos over on my IGTV if you wanted a visual on how to make these too. Enjoy and have a happy and healthy Thanksgiving!

I got together with chef Amaris Jones and my friend Tia Mowry to make something that both adults and children could enjoy. Who doesn’t love sweet potatoes!? As Amaris would describe this dish, it’s a bit of a deconstructed casserole. All you’ll need is the below to put it together and some mason jars. In typical Adrienne style, I like to serve these on a board because…why not!?
- Ground turkey seasoned with salt, pepper, rosemary, and onion.
- Sweet potato baked with caramelized pineapple, agave, cinnamon and coconut creamer.
- Top off the mix with some micro greens
- Add a marshmallow skewer to the lid of your mason jar for a festive touch!
Chef Amaris came through and helped me out with these when I only had 20 minutes to feed a crowd I was hosting! I wasn’t sure what to do and she had the brilliant idea of putting together these mini poke bowls, which were both tasty and filling. Thankfully you can find pre-cut ahi tuna at just about any market which makes this process so much easier! Here’s everything you’ll need for these mini poke bowls.
- Pre-cut ahi tuna cubes
- Fresh mango
- Fresh pepper
- Fresh onions
- Ponzu sauce
- Lime juice
- Rice crostini (or your preferred crostini!)
- Crispy onions for topping off!
