Bosh Twins Birthday Festivities!

When parents say they can’t believe how big their babies have gotten, they’re not exaggerating. That’s exactly how I felt once the time came around to plan Phoenix and Lennox’s fourth birthday party. Time has flown by with my twin boys and I can’t believe they’re already four—it’s surreal! You all know me and you know I love when it’s time to plan a party. We decided to go all out for the boys and throw them a dinosaur-themed soiree, and trust me when I tell you that no detail went untouched!

In light of everything that’s going on in the world right now I wanted to help give you guys a little dose of positivity by sharing an inside look at the twins’ birthday bash. Looking through these photos I can’t help but have a huge smile on my face and feel so lucky that all they’ll remember about this time is that mom and dad threw them the best dino party ever!

Ohh My Sweetness helped bring my vision to life. She created these insanely beautiful dessert tables complete with treats and Triceratops cakes. The boys loved seeing their faces topped on each cupcake.

I partnered with Jackie Ohh Events to put together the special day for the boys and bring their jungle dreams to life. Seriously, we turned the entire venue into a modern jungle with balloons and greenery, and the finishing touches were everything. Because I wanted to make it so special, we really focused on the details to get it all right. Another thing that we made sure to in mind was making everything super interactive so that the kids could stay as busy and entertained as possible, no matter which section of the party they touched. You know I never miss the opportunity for a great crafting station!

Speaking of crafts, Sew Sweet Crafts helped us put together vibrant crafting stations, and each child had the chance to sit on their own dinosaur throne with a custom, handmade dinosaur tail that they could wear. We didn’t stop at some cute tails, though! Our little attendees were also given custom party hats, vests, and a tote bag for any goodies.

As our guests roamed the jungle, they were treated to an array of sweets and we even had some cute cupcake toppers with Phoenix and Lennox’s faces on them! There were painted cookies, two dinosaur-themed cakes for each of the boys, macarons, chocolate squares, doughnuts, and so much more. Anyone with a sweet tooth was bound to have the time of their lives!

We set out to make every corner of the party photo-ready for us to really bask in these memories, which I’m even more grateful for now. I mean, look at the smiles and excitement on all of these faces! Who wouldn’t want to hang out with some dinos after this!? But it all didn’t stop there, and we took the rest of the party inside with the dinosaur-theme just as prevalent.

Once we stepped inside to the next phase of the party, we walked into our Tepee dreams!  It was sleepover territory that looked more adorable than I could put into words–it was like something out of a movie. All of Phoenix and Lennox’s siblings and friends had their own designated teepee with their own little dining tray, dinosaur fossil, and stuffed dino doll of course. My Little Party helped us bring the idea to life and kept the nature and jungle theme in mind while fleshing it all out.

There was faux foliage, dinosaur action figures, and cozy on-theme bedding for when the time came to hit those zzz’s.

All in all, this was the BEST way to celebrate our baby boys before we were living our lives in quarantine and dealing with this unfortunate reality. Here’s to hopefully planning some more soirees in the near future, but in the meantime stay safe, stay healthy, and check in on your loved ones!
