New York City Guide (NYFW Inspired!)

If you’ve been following along, you may have seen that Chris and I have been running around NYC all week in lieu of Fashion Week! It has been so much fun being back in the city and I have SO many great memories here. I’ve really loved sharing all my whereabouts with y’all on my IG stories and through IG live but I got a lot of requests to share a full-blown city guide so I figured this would be the perfect time to do so!

This list ranges from my favorite dinner spots to my go-to spas so I tried to categorize it to make it a little easier to follow! P.S. click on the name of any of the places below and it’ll take you to the website!

RESTAURANTS:

BREAKFAST/BRUNCH:
Sara Beth’s:

If you’re looking for a brunch spot that’s amazing and has a wide variety of unique and also classic dishes, this is the perfect spot! I LOVE it here! Their location is amazing (near Central Park), the staff is so friendly, and the food is delicious. There is nothing I look forward to more than a good brunch and this spot always hits the spot!

Sadelle’s:
This one’s a classic! I meannn… their bagel-topping tower is unreal and everything tastes incredibly fresh. I highly recommend making a reservation otherwise you’ll be waiting kind of forever in line (unless you’re just picking up a bagel!). Definitely a must though!

Jack’s Wife Freda:
Jack’s Wife Freda is a super lively all-day NYC bistro that serves American-Mediterranean food (& also amazing cocktails). The food here is so tasty and unique and you can really taste all the flavors that they incorporated into each dish. Definitely a favorite of mine and they have two locations, one in Soho and one in the West Village, so it’s super easy to get to!

Maman:
Maman is the cutest café, bakery, and restaurant that has the BEST vibe. It’s light and bright inside and all the food is delicious. Maman’s menu highlights childhood favorites from the South of France and North America- they have several locations all over Manhattan and I highly recommend going, even if it’s just to grab a latte!

Two Hands:
If you’re an avocado-toast person, you absolutely HAVE to check out Two Hands. This isn’t the only dish they serve, but it is AMAZING. If you’re craving something sweet though, I definitely recommend the banana walnut bread that’s topped with espresso mascarpone. I’m drooling just thinking about it!

La Mercerie Cafe:
I have nothing but great things to say about this spot! It’s SO dreamy inside- it has the cutest corner that’s filled with fresh flowers and the ambiance is so on point. Plus they have the CUTEST ice cream cones. Go here for breakfast/brunch and then walk area the cute shopping area! P.S. It’s family friendly!!

DINNER:
The Polo Bar:
The Polo Bar is an American restaurant created by Ralph Lauren and its’ classic vibe and good food always leaves me so satisfied. I recommend getting the Dover Sole with a side of spinach and, of course, beverage of your choice. You really can’t go wrong here though, everything tastes amazing! *Also,* this is a great power lunch- I came here for NYFW and felt so fueled and perfectly full afterwards!

Le Cou Cou:
Great for date night!! The food, ambience, and energy is everything. Le Cou Cou serves classic French cuisine in the most charming setting. I always crave their Dover Sole- it’s so fresh and perfectly flavored- highly recommend.

ABC Kitchen & ABCV Kitchen:
Great food, especially for vegetarians! Their menu is filled with tons of amazing options and is the perfect spot to go if you or someone in your family/friend group is vegetarian or vegan.

Song’E Napule:
The type of food that makes you feel like you’re eating dinner at your Italian grandmother’s house! Seriously the best. The pizza is made fresh in a brick over and the pasta is hand-made, dressed with sauces that are to die for. This spot is on the casual side but highly recommend for those nights where you just want really good food.

Locanda Verde:
The best neighborhood spot (located in Tribeca) that serves rustic Italian cuisine in a super fun and lively atmosphere. First of all, their fresh bread and sheep’s milk ricotta is to die for and you really can’t go wrong with your meal! So many amazing options that have a really authentic taste to them.

Via Carota:
The food, the design, and the overall vibe here is amazing! If you’re close to Greenwich Village, I highly recommend checking Via Carota out. I definitely recommend getting a pasta dish- their flavors are amazing (and while you’re at it, get yourself one of their perfectly-done cocktails!!)

Cipriani:
A classic! Cipriani is the kind of spot that serves food that is ALWAYS consistent. It’s been around forever and has a traditional but amazing menu. P.S. get the dessert here- the vanilla meringue is their specialty but they also have some amazing traditional Italian desserts.

Buvette:
This super charming, French-inspired gastrothèque is a West Village spot where you can go to grab either a light bite or you can get full on their small-plate menu. Every dish is thoughtfully made and it’s so fun to just walk in, grab a seat at the bar, and drink good wine / eat amazing food. Love this spot!!

LATE NIGHT:
Artichoke Basille’s Pizza:
The BEST late-night pizza spot. The slice of artichoke pizza is the truth and a late-night pizza in NY is a must for us! I always look forward to grabbing a slice (or two, or three!) and eating it back at the hotel with Chris.

Bubby’s:
The best for simple and fresh comfort food- come here late-night when you’re craving things like chicken n’ waffles, french fries, pancakes, and all your American food favorites. Go look at their Instagram page and just drool over their photos.

Spotted Pig:
Another go-to late night spot! Such a good casual vibe that serves amazing comfort food. Their menu has things like tasty bar snacks, filling burgers, fries, pasta, and more (so basically something for everyone!). Go here when your late-night cravings hit 🙂

Baccarat:
There are not enough words to describe this hotel! Chris and I always love our experience here and it truly has it all- great location, staff, comfortable rooms, a nice bar, great food, and the list goes on. This is our go-to hotel!

1 Hotel (Times Square or Brooklyn):
The 1 hotel recently opened up in Brooklyn and is SO beautiful!! The vibe and decor is so stylish and the rooftop is honestly the place to be. If you want to stay a little further away from the city, this is definitely the place!

SHOPPING:
ABC Carpet & Home:
I always love walking into ABC because I know that I’m 100% going to fall in love with pretty much everything they sell! If you’re looking to do some home shopping, the ABC retail store is attached to ABC and ABCV (which are their restaurants).

Mimi Luzon:
You may have seen Mimi’s work on Instagram (she’s the one who does the gold masks!) and she’s SO incredibly intelligent. She’s a skin and wellbeing expert and I highly recommend going to her for a facial. You will walk out glowing!!
